(2) 4ohm DVC @ 1ohm question

when you are coming from one sub's neg to the other neg it shows that you dont go to the other subs neg terminal it shows that you connect the wires as if you splice them together than continue to the amp..... can i not come from one sub's neg terminal to the other than to the amp....

positive positive positive, negative negative negative......where's the question? they have to be wired like that, now if you have a mono amp with 2 speaker connectors or a 2 channel amp, you can wire em where they are wired like that, only don't connect the 2 subs together and put them to their own channels

and that'll give you a 2 ohm load on each channel....

 
No you don't have to splice. As long as all the neg terminals are connected to each other and all the posiives are connected together, the actual method of getting it done is irrelevant.
