I found a good deal where both of these fit under my budget and i have a Kenwood Kac-8105D 1000rms amp, Trunk space is no problem (i'll be having a custom ported box built based on the decision), Just wanting to know which would be better/stronger for the slam in the chest feeling that makes it difficult to breathe. Sound quality is a tiebreaker, i like bass i can feel pounding on my lungs, not much of a fan of the rumbling super low frequencies. Thanks for taking your time to comment in reply in advance!

Pioneer for sure. The W0 line is terrible IMO. But neither are really gonna give you what your describing

i would do the w0s, near identical motor force to the w1s and that pioneer is only 500w rms i don't think they every made a 1k champion series sub.

IMO you wouldn't be happy with either the who's or the pioneer. I'd look at dtroms IA's 10's that's listed on here for sale. They'd sound a lot better than what you've selected.

-Kramer_212 they made one, just look the model number in the title up on amazon for reference. it has decent reviews on amazon and sonic electronix but just hearing reviewers saying "bass sounds good" "this thing pounds" doesnt really give too much description on the sound signature of the bass.

-naughtyca i'm getting the 2 JLs for 30 and the pioneers for the same price, the reason why is because i won a youtube giveaway! =D So i have the choice between those two, after i recieve it from the mail, Ill just need to cover the shipping cost of 16.50 out of courtesy which i'll probably do after installing it.

-Thumpersplbassx I'll keep that brand in mind if i ever want to upgrade in the future if i'm not happy with my soon to be setup, sounds like they've built a solid reputation from what i researched.

-Dtrom i'd figure it wouldn't too since these are considered to be budget subs,but still, i'm just gonna squeeze the most i can out of them though lol.

From the comments, these two choices sound pretty bad despite some decent reviews on other sites but out of the two which would you guys vote for since both are dirt cheap for me.

if you get them for free get the JL and sell it on craiglist and get a better subwoofer, it will be easier to sell a JL in craiglist than a pioneer. Here's a decent sub for cheap on pre order 3" coil for $99 or 15's for $109, one of these will probably be louder that those

OOOO wow that shok triton 15" video is giving off the type of bass that i want, sounds soo much better than the pioneers i see on youtube. (Listening from a home subwoofer), Thanks for the suggestion i think i will get the W0s and sell em off. A couple of questions about the shok triton 15" video though, Is that sound comming from a ported box or a sealed? Is that considered low frequency SQ or high frequency SPL? i want to get things right to know which one's which.

man joining this forum, i feel like a noob all over again like i did when i joined head-fi back when i only knew about beats and bose, i'm getting the same feeling here now hearing all these other great subwoofer brands rather than the aggressively marketed and overpriced ones.

I would get the JL's because they have a better resale value so you can sell them and get something legit

Sorry to revive an old thread but the 3002d4 is a 1000 watt RMS sub. I have two in a big van and they're super loud. I had a box built by double 07. They're running at 4 ohm off Brutus 2400.1, the CEA compliant version. The box is 2.5^3@35hz. These are my first 1k subs so I can't compare much. Very reliable and work well for those tight on space. I'll post videos if you'd like
