2 18's or 3 15's?

wrong,4 12's has around 2000 sqi,2 15's has around 1600

I do like the wow factor of the 15's, And Im sure I can get over 10 Cubes in my trunk easily..96 Crown vic, And like I said whole trunk will be used Mostly, 3/4 Inch MDF, With another 1/2 All the way wround, Double 3/4 Baffle, I will be building it, Once I decide on subs, So If I decide Tonight It will start tomorrow afternoon. So Pics will be up

Ohh By the way, I Have no idea where Im gonig to put amps yet, Expecially since back seats dont fold down. Subs will be right there when trunk is opened, Port firing Up though rear deck, Since My seats dont fold down. I guess Ill have to make room somewhere....

Hmm, never used Arc products, but I have heard very good things about them.

I know the Sundown will be happy with that electrical to back it up at .5 ohm.

With your electrical I wouldn't doubt it would put out 2k @ .5 ohm.

If you're worried about it being too much brand new, look at the ssa forum to see what he has for refurbs/used.

It's a sticky in the Sundown forum. Scroll down a bit until you see all of the brands.

I think it would be worth paying $100 more for the Sundown.

2 15"s have more cone area than 4 12"s, so 4 15"s will, theoretically, outperform 4 12"s. Plus I think poppin your trunk for friends and have 4 15"s staring back you'll definately get a huge wow factor. I still say he gets 4 Maw 15"s because theyre cheap, but well made. 35 lb sub 500 rms (conservatively set) and can't forget great customer service, and a sexy looking sub.. all for $105 shipped a piece? Can't really pass that up if you're one a budgt.

2 18's will out perform any of the above mentioned setups in my opinon.

Hell, I'd reccomend 2 18"s also, but he's on a budget. So I reccomended 4 maw 15"s.

If he were to get a Saz 1500d and want to 18"s to handle it, I say go for 2 Q 18"s but that's $200 more for those.

As said before, a little over $400 for a slightly used SAZ 1500D off of their forum. Will do 2k @ .5ohm on your electrical. That would give each sub 500 rms. Perfect match :-D
