ok my project for this weekend is im building a box for my camaro and i went threw and measured everything and i came out with 6.87 cubic foot thats without adding in the port area. im adding another jl w-6 15 so im goin to have 2 of them in there im goin to tune it any were from 30-35 hz, so with the port area in there im goin to maybe come out with about 4.5 cubs dont really feel like figuring it out right now but i need your guys opinions if that will be enough airspace for the 2 subs? plus got it metered the other day 139.7db in a 4.3 cubic foot box tuned to 28hz

These 15's need a good amount of airspace. With only 4.5 cubes, I think you'd be better off to run just one. If your looking for upgrades to make it louder, I'd look into a new amp, change box tuning, etc.

Well JL specs say 2.25 cu ft for the 15w6, ported. So technically you should be ok.

But from my experience, they like 2.75-3.25 cu ft. It gives a flatter response and hits the lows louder. I had mine in a 2.75cu ft, tuned to 30hz and it sounded great.
