2 15's under window vs 2 18's walled

well i got about 10 cubic ft under the window line so i figured thats good enough for 2 15's or i can wall it and get about 13 cubic ft which is good for a small box for 18's i've been looking and havent found anybody with 2 15's under the window line except for a guy that had to havoc 15's i believe off a kicker 2500.but im looking for a 150+ in the 30hz region and i also seen a guy that had 2 btl 18's off 2 saz 3000d's and pulled a nice hairtrick and can trick.its going in a sonoma so any help will be appreciated. not sure on amps yet but i know it'll be about 4000 - 6000 watts.i was looking at AQ but i dont think they'll get as low as i want i got a 9518 sounded good but just didnt hit the lows to good

You can always tune DD/AQ's to 35Hz if you really want to emphasize the lows. I did 149@34Hz out of the trunk with 2 15" AQ's, so I think they drop plenty low...

you can get 150+ with the 15's.Dean Umlandt did a 151+ in either an s-10 or sonoma in the '05 IASCA world finals with i believe 12's with only i extra battery.its all in the box design.

well the only problem is i dont have the cubic ft to really hit the lows i can do about 5-.5.5 cubic ft a piece and not alot of port and i dont wanna suffocate the dd's or AQ if i run them but im thinking if i get about 2500 wats to each woofer i might be able to even it out im really wanting to run 18's though but fi and ascendant are the only ones i know that do good in small boxes.what cubic ft are your 15's in

not sure how many cubes he had his 12's in,but in my cut thru i'm using a little over 8 cubes for my 2 loaded 15 btls.i have a little more room to play with though since my cut thru is in my ram pickup.

nightshades do great in small boxes.....fyi

do two 15" hw's or nightshades they do great in little enclosures and will take gobs of power

I had two Sundown NightShade 15s in 5.8ft net volume tuned to 36hz and they picked up the lows very well. That setup burped a legal 150.6 powered by a pair of Sundown saz-1500s.
