In my trunk.... I am going to be putting a wall in my car and i would just like some tips, I have built boxes for trunks before just not a wall. I was thinking doing the 2 subs one on top of the other behind my seat and the port behind the passenger seat.

I geuss it would waste it huh, prob be wicked heavy. but I just want to be able to have the loudest system i can for what i got. Do you think a sealed box would be loud enough for these speakers?? really i am a noob so dont go too hard on me,srry 2 15" m3153d subs and a 1000.1st memphis amp

hell yes it would be a waste, but hey, it's your car. fast or loud? your choice.

people probably think they're only spending on equipment with daily SPL rigs, but they probably dont' account for the wasted money due to lowered MPG caused by the added weight.

Go with a small sq set up. im pissed i went for all out spl, im loud but who cares.

I'm all for efficiency.

I'd suggest you look into infinite baffle / free-air / trunk baffle, but that's because i'm biased.

If you're not competing in SPL I dont' see the use of trying to get your car as loud as you can unless that's your passion.. especially in that car you ahve. If it is your passion you might as well compete. Other than that, being uber loud without competing will just make you look like a jackass (depending on where/how you bump), but you'll look cool to other jackasses.

maybe you can demo a few cars and see how loud you would like your daily driver to be and plan from there.

Just my opinion.
