2 15's in a dodge dakota

there is a decent amount of room back there, but i wish i had more
right now i have the amps on my false floor right infront of my sub box, if i can find another place to mount my amps i can possibly go a few inches deeper with the box for more air volume. ill have to play around with some measurements.

how would BL's work in that box? would 6.5 cubes be enough for 2 15" BL's? and how good are the BL in the lower bass region..like low 30's

I would tune lower with the BL's. But you'd need to double your power to effectively runs BL's IMO.

id go with the HDC3s and run a 1200 to each.

yeah the plan over the winter is to get another 1200D and strap them to get 2400 watts @ 2 ohms, which should be enough power for 2 BL's...and for tuning lower i can always take those ports out and make em longer, i got enough room in there and it wouldnt decrease my net volume by much.

i love it, no complaints at all, great company and great gear, only thing i might do different in the future is switch out the subs for some that like to be tuned lower, as i do like the lows lol. im also tempted maybe in the future to try out there 6.5 component set.

Looks good overall but I never seen the hairtrick with 2 15s, would have loved to have seen that on 600 per woofer. Gives me hope lol.
