Loving the box. Now THAT is precision. Looks like every joint seams together flawlessly. How'd did you come up with the exact angles for the cuts? Did you use a 3-D modeling software of some sort I'm guessing? Also... what did you use for the front beauty-baffle. Was that free-hand or did you use a CNC mill? Either way, looks very professional. the D D's on the front baffle are not exactly the same as the DD logo....lol......idk how i caught that, but it's still a lot better than anything i could do....props man!

nice work!i have 2 old dd 1008's(single 4 ohm vc) in my regular cab dodge and surprisingly they hit for a small sealed box.

Hmm, well... no where in the post did he claim to have built it himself, although the pics of the actual build process piece by piece would hint that he did. Unless Pete supplied him with pics to track his progress?

Also, on a side note. LOL! I wouldn't have noticed the DD logo "oops" had no one said it. When you said the logo doesn't match, I figured "Quit busting his balls because it isn't the exact same dimensions or it's stretched a bit." Then I noticed the D-D overlap is backwards lol.

At least it's jsut the front beauty panel. It can be removed and a new one made assuming the box isn't carpeting. Although... the OP commented on how the subs sound so maybe it's finished already? Oh well, still nice craftsmanship, that's for sure. Sometimes when we're focused on the difficult stuff, we overlook the simplest details. Shit happens...
