2 1500ds strapped or 1 3000d?

ok when it comes down to 2 1500ds strapped with a maxx-link vs. a single 3000d, considering the less wiring id need for a single amp prefered to 2 amps, which setup would give me more juice daily? the 2 1500s strapped at 2ohms with a maxx-link or a 3000d at 1ohm on lets say a 12v system? also would the numbers be a bigger difference if the strapped amps were ran at .5 ea 1ohm nominal vs the 3000d at .5? which setup will i see more juice from daily and is the better route to go? thx!

why would you need a maxx link to strap the 1500D's???

I believe Jacob said the 3000D will do a fuzz more power, but not enough to make a diff in the real world.

Go to SSA for test results of the SD amps. And if you wanna run them at .5 then plan on a GOOD electrical system...

If all amps are gonna see a 1ohm load I would go with the 3000d. Its a lil more efficient than the 1500s. If all amps are gonna see 0.5ohm then I'd go with the 1500s cause they'll put out more power but they will also still be less efficient.

1500ds are alot cheaper to fix through dbr.
