2 15" memphis

ok so im pretty sure im getting two 15" memphis power references tommorrow are they under or over rated it says it handles 250 rms but i've heard its underrated is this true and how much do you think they can handle i need to get an idea of what amp ill need for them

my memphis were way underrated at 500watts rms and 800 max, and i was giving them 1000 watts a piece and barely got warm just be nice on the gains. The Power Refrence line can probably handle anywhere between 250-500 watts rms with the proper gains.

why 2 channel? go with a monoblock makes it easier to wire. How much are you lookin to spend?

ok so one monoblock for both? im not sure right now how much i wanna spend the speakers are gonna break me im getting them because my friend can give em to me for the sale price even though its not on sale anymore so it'll be awhile before i get an amp

well it's electronic express he works there and there 89 a piece and im 16 and i just started work after gettin fired two weeks ago and i have to pay car insurance 130 a month so yea

Well since you wanna do 2 channel this budget amp will get the job done and with dual 4 ohm subs bridge this at amp at 4 ohms ans you subs should get about 430 watts a piece roughly:
