i have a ssd15 with copper coils. I love it. I would recommend 3cuft at 32-35 if your doing copper coils. they bang on the lows but in the upper 50+ hz region they lack. awesome sub though.

Thats what I have been hearing about the copper coils, but then again I love the low bass you can feel. I guess I would rather like the copper coils then...

When I had my two running off of just 900 watts..I got dash flex on the lows //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif .... Plenty of feeling in them!

sweet you will love the SSD. give it time though. it takes a week or so for it to break in and sound as good as it does and to get as loud as it can

One more question, i know ima sound noobish...

Dont forget i have never used Fi before thats why I ask...

What the hell is really the differance between the 15" SSD, Q and BL?

I know the SSD is the basic sub, im assuming like the SE from RE?

I know the Q is more towards SQ which I like to have?

The BL is leaning towards SPL?

What do you guys recommend if I want some nice lows and good SQ?

The ssd is more comparable to the SX.

The Q and BL both have a strong bottom end. But, the BL's bottom end is more pronounced and is louder than the Q. It doesn't sound as good though.

If you want good deep bass that's reasonably loud, I say go with the Q. But with only 1200 rms from that eD, I would go with 1 Q. Since you were going to go with 2 15" Fi SSDs, I say an 18" Q should do you perfect.

2 15" SSDs would be louder, but I think the Q would be better.

Ima get another amp, Im looking to trade my ed for an amp that does 2000watts...

So, 2 15" Q would get loud and sound better that SSD's?

Or would I be better of getting the SSD's and keeping my ED?
