Hello,

I am going to purchase 2 fully upgraded FI BTL's. I am thinking about getting into competing. Can you guys tell me how much I should power each sub with and give me amp suggestions if that is possible? I guess I want to power them as much as possibly but safely so they wont blow.Basically what should I power them with how many watts lol. Also what are the specs I should tell the box builder to build for me? THanks guys. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

kenny thats alot of power daily, ive got that kind of power and more, but for daily i run 2 of my 4 amps, because if you get volume happy for over a minute or so,your subs might go poof.not saying they wont handle that kind of power, just not daily.

you musta bumped your head,8000 daily:laugh:now competing only 8000 total is alright.
go big or go home. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

i know thats an assload for daily, but if he had the electrical and knew how to handle it it'd be nice. but of course thats why i said 2500 rms would be sufficient.

i hate to say it but are you sure you know what you're getting into and have the funds to do this? because the amps alone are going to be quite pricy and since it seems you're not setting it up yourself, its gonna be a good penny to pay someone to set it up as well...

sorry but from the sound of things, it didn't seem like you've planned things out too much considering this isn't a everyday project...

If you don't even know what kind of amps you need, or how much power, nor do you know what you need box-wise AND you want someone to build your box for you... you need to spend some time reading and learning. There's a lot to know about competing, and you obviously don't have a grip on it.

If you are serious about competing, you'll need to be able to build your own boxes and tweak them. You'll also need to look into upgrades on your electrical system.
