Some people do it, but IDK if I would. It is generally accepted that mixing sub sizes is not a good idea, but I don't know the specifics to the reasoning. If i were you, I'd do some research before mixing subs. Just my 2 cents.

well i want more range, using 2 diffrent amps i dont see the problem. If anything im looking for 2 fi 12"s or something similar.

Do not mix sub sizes, if you know what you're doing youll have different ranges when you set up everything else.
