2 15 L7s NOT LOUD

Sounds like an install wiring problem to me. You can sit there all you want saying it's not because you know how to build a box and wire stuff, but sometimes you need to redo shit! I say go over all the wiring again and check the box for leaks and what not. Maybe build another box and try it out since you say your good in that area, so what is a few bucks and time? It can't be a power problem being it is in a blazer! Friend has 1 15" Kicker L7 off 1200 watts and it sounds killer. Last comp, which was last year he did a 146.1 on the termlab. So I know they can get loud! Has to be your setup. I say take the cheap route and check the box, wiring.

sweet06camry has a similar setup except hes using a 2500d to his and a smaller box but from what hes told me his is really loud and sounds good doing it might want to get in touch with him maybe he can help you

I hate threads where someone posts an extremely vague question, lots of people answer, and the OP ignores all the important replies.

Like the ones asking for pics, or for how they are wired. All the OP seems to want to do is reply to the equally vague posts, and whine alot. As if we can properly diagnose a semi-complex issue, with zero pics, and barely much a description of the install itself beyond the most basic of information. Do you want us to help, or not? If you do want help, stop ignoring good info, and start helping yourself a little... like by picking up your camera.

Then dont post in my thread.. Ok well i got some pics of my setup. I got tired of having a huge *** box in the back of my truck so i cut it down. The box used to have a 4"x35.5" port running along the bottom of the box facing the tailgate, i cut off the port to make the box shorter so i could see out my back window. Obviously going sealed made this setup not as loud as it was ported.

I know me cutting off the port doesnt help me getting any louder but the box wasnt loud enough for me as it was and id rather be able to see out my back window.

All I have to say is WOW, 5 pages and it comes to this-you hacking up your box and settleing for that as your solution. If you cut off your bottom port wouldn't you still have a gapping hole on the bottom or did you add a filler piece also?

Obviously i made a new piece for the bottom. Im still researching around the forum before i attemt a new box. But still these things should get loud in a big *** sealed box that theyre in. Why does everyone make it seem like if you arent ported your not loud ??
