2 15 L7s NOT LOUD

Well im getting kind of pissed now! I cant seem to get these things loud!I had them in 8.4cuft box @ 33hz which basicaly i couldnt see out the back window of my 2door blazer, theyre getting pushed by an MMATS 2100.1 @ 1ohm and im not impressed or satisfied with them! what am i doing wrong? from what i see everyone is saying that these things are monsters. Try subs and ports back, 2 chambers, 3.5 cu ft per chamber internal, 40 sq inch opening, 19.75 in long, tuned to 35 hz... From personal experience that shit is going to hit...

Ive never had a problem getting my truck loud but with these its really gettin me angry. I have had (3) 12" Pioneer 305?'s in a good sized ported box , then i had (2) 15" Soundstream not sure of model , then (3) 12" Alpine type R's. All these setups were in decent sized ported boxes tuned to 30-35hz and they all absolutely hit harder and were louder. I really need some suggestions....Anyone running the same setup?? Or blazer guys any sugestions?

From reading these forums thats what these subs are "supposed" to really come alive in. Big ported boxes. the max kicker says is 6.0cuft so thts 12.0cuft for both and my box isnt that big ,so i dont think its too big...?

when i had a big box with a 18 in my suv, it would cuz the roof to flex to much and drown out the bass.. it didn't even seem loud like it should.. im more happy with a pair of 12's

Yeah your box seems too big. Are the subs moving like they should?

like i said the box is only about 8.4cuft. Kicker says 6.0cuft as a max for 1 sub. So it shouldnt be too big.

well if the everythings wired right and the subs are moving correctly, then thats what you're going to get with that box and setup
