W7 for the ****est reasons, i mean think about the reputation that the W7 has compared to the W6... W7 is the best sub that JL has to offer, but like supa C said, there is so much more out there that is better, the price of one W7 you could buy like 10 RE8's or more... or you could buy different set up that would sound twice as good as the W7 would ever......

Why are people always trying to talk people out of what they want? He just asked which is better, of couse the W7 is. If he wants to spend the money on them, and the money to power them, then just let him do what he wants to.

But you gotta remember that this web forum is for people to converse, for people to have healthy conversation and part of that is giving people our own feedback whether they asked for it or not.. becuz maybe this kid only knows of W7's becuz he walked intosome fancy JL Audio store and they convinced him to spend more than 2 grand on his system to sound good... so we are just helpin him make a wise decision.. and hey if we can help him buy makin a better decision and help him save some money doin it.. then that to me is what the whole website is about....... (alpine...i aint trying to gang up on you man... sorry)

Nah it don't sound like your trying to bash me or anything. The thing is when someone wants a sub, someone else is always trying to talk them into a different sub, cuz they own it, or they heard it is good. The people should know that there are other subs just as good and better (in ways) then a W7 befor they post. If not they should take a week out and read up on the forums.

Yeah you are right alpine.. i just didnt want you to think i was puttin you down.. its true about peoples opinion but on here everyone goes for mostly RE's.. so i mean its preaty much people sayin get RE SX, or the SE and stuff.. but i mean i think that people should figure it out what they want with a little help of more experienced people in the car audio world...
