2 12w3v2 vs. 15 ?

Cousin wants to upgrade his system. Right now he has 2 12w3v2s in a sealed box powered by a 500/1 . I was wondering what single 15 would be louder than his initial setup. He has room for a 3.5 cube box and now has 1500 watts to power it. Feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

A properly built ported box for a 15 with that much space would absoulutely shit on those JL's
