ok so before i get flamed for having boss subs just hear me out!! i have two 12 inch boss phantom 2300 watt subs and they hit amazingly hard and they were in my budget but now i have the opportunity to trade them for 2 kicker l7 10's and i wanna know if these would hit harder than my two twelves? thanks

ok well could i have an straight answer? the subs i have are rated at 2300 watts max/1150 rms and the kickers are rated 1200/600 but these arent the 08 models these have the silver cone and the silver magnet cover i dont know if that helps my question any??

well the 2 round twelves are pie r square and the l7's are already square so they would hit way harder especially when your amp puts out square waves which I assume is quite often
this is quote worthy

honestly it all depends on what kind of power what kind of enclosure, and what kind of music you listen too, i dont like square subs but alot of people swear by them

well i was trying to be nice... i know people who have had systems for years and they are still noobs...

had a guy say with all seriousness "them square subs hit so much harder then round ones..."

what amp do you have? are you going to be using the same amp? if youre using the same amp then it might equal out bc im sure that the l7's are more efficient than the boss.

if your going to upgrade your amp with the kickers then thats what i would suggest.

or i could sell you something that would hit harder than either. PM me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

they are probably better than the junk you have now, but only marginally.. if its a straight up trade i would get them and try to sell them because they will sell quicker than some boss subs and then go get a good 15'' sub
