2 12 w7 with a diamond audio d6 1200.1 a good idea????????

I was wondering if it would be a good idea to run 2 jl audio 12 w7's on a diamond audio d6 1200.1 the subs a r rated at 1000 watts rms and the amp is rated at 800 watts rms at 2 ohms and 1200 watts rms at 1 ohm. This would mean I'd only have 1000 watts going to both subs at 1.5 ohmsu.unless the amp is very underrated. Would this work? And would this sound good for a sq system?

Yea I accidently hit the send button twice the first time. I wanted 2 threads one in the subwoofer forum and the other in the amplifier forum.
