based on cone area... no 2 12's about 960 cm^2 a single 15 810 cm^2, and your talking about square 12's which have even more cone area

My 15 sounds louder than my 2 12s. But then again, the 12s were in a prefab box. the 15 is in a 4.25@ 38hz box. Takes way less to get it where I want it.

2 12's with same power as one 15 the 12's would win more than likely

my box is 27wx13htx13d sealed and i want to go ported.
well for one those l7's are in a small azz box barely above the min required so yea i would either go bigger sealed or ported
ported you are gonna need around 5cuft net, and selaed i would do around 3.5-4cuft, might be off on the sealed but ported is about right for l7's

well the biggest i can go is 30lx12.75htx20d
thats only 3.35 before any displacement deff cant go ported for those subs or much less even one 15 l7 i dont think that will be enough
if u do aeroport on the box after that and the sub displacement u will have less than 3cuft so i would do the l7's sealed you would have around 3.2net or so which would be good for those

that or go with a 15" that doesnt need much airspace or find a high powered 12" like a xxx or something that can take 2k plus and use every bit of that zx2500

yea i was think about gettin a xxx or a 15 that doesnt need a big box.
