what would you compare them to?

if you know how to use the sonys you would be very happy with them. i have 2 10"s in the trunk on my corolla and i can hit upper 140's on the termpro sensor. i have never blow a sub or an amp(sony as well). i had a db drag street c setup with 8 sony (600 watt) amps and sony subs hitting lower 150's. alot of people with blow them off cause it is sony but if you know how to use it you will impress alot of people and you would be very happy with them

next time click the stats link in my sig before you talk and look like a jackass. just cause you can't get sony loud doesn't mean the products are no good

They're an extremely high quality woofer for the price. I don't think you can beat it. They'll put the sony's to shame.
