Im building a box for my buddy's either accord or civic, I can't remember. But anyway Im designing it now, and its for 2 12" aq sdc 2.5's. My questions is, well I'm looking at doing subs back with side port. With the side port, the port wall will be what the back of the subs backs up to, now if say one of the subs backs up to the port wall, but the the port ends before reaching the other sub, will that effect how it plays? sorry if it doesn't make much sense, Im not really sure how to word it, but any help is greatly appreciated, thank you!

uh...Im not sure how i can differently explain it, like I haven't checked on the specs exactly yet, but say if the magnet was 2" from the port wall, and the other one would be 6" from the back wall, does the difference there make any difference in response of the woofers?

it will load the drivers differently. Most cases not enough to matter. I have one sub loading directly into the throat of my horn and it only moves .25'' more then the other.

unless your box is 100% symmetrical your subs will load differently. But as I said the first time, there usually isn't enough difference to matter to the ear. I would worry more about room around the box.

Are you doing a slot port or round ports? If there is a sub by the mouth of the port it could unload. Ideally you want the sub to be as far from the mouth of the port as possible and if there are multiple subs, you want them to be spaced an equal distance from the mouth of the port.
