2 12" CVX Kicker subs, whats the best setup?

Need help with my setup in my '06 impala, I have 2 12" kicker subs dual 4 ohms 750 rms. Dont wanna upgrade my alt. and im on a budget.

1. should i get a yellow top battery?

2. went on sonicelectronix and they have a program that helps find amps according to what subs you have. the number 1 amp was a

Hifonics HFi1500D

RMS Power Rating:

4 ohms: 500 watts x 1 chan.

2 ohms: 1000 watts x 1 chan.

1 ohms: 1500 watts x 1 chan.

Max power output: 1500 watts

The amp i thought was pretty good was

Power Acoustik D1-3000D

RMS Power Rating:

4 ohms: 900 watts x 1 chan.

2 ohms: 1,300 watts x 1 chan.

1 ohm: 1,700 watts x 1 chan.

Max power output: 3,000 watts x 1 chan.

Since my subs are 4 ohms should i look at the 4ohms output wattage on the amps or what? can someone explain why the hifonics is rate higheror is it just the name brand is the reason why its higher?

3. Is it necessary to do the big 3 with my kind of setup?

4. Should i use a cap?

1. In my '99 malibu I was running 1k watts and I didn't need a second battery, but since you'll need to run it at 1 ohm it might be something to look into.

2. If your content with running with the CVX's (I've never used Hifonics) but it should be fine brought down to 1ohm

3. Big 3 is good for anything (1/0gauge)

4. No

*edit* the minimum gauge I would go with would be 4gauge, but if you want to invest more into it so you don't have to worry, go straight for 1/0 gauge wire for Power/Ground.
