2 12" CVRs or 15" L7

Right now i have 2 12" Kicker Comp VR's powered by an 1100 watt kenwood amp. I was thinking about selling these and buying a 15" Kicker Solobaric L7. What do you all think about this? I like laud music and low, hard hitting bass, should i get the L7?

Yea, i really think the L7 will be lauder and hit the low nots better. Also, should i sell my amp and go for a bigger one?

The L7 will spank the cvr's if set up properly.

What would be the proper way for me to set it up, if i do decide to get it?...sould i ugrade my amp?( its a Kenwood 1100 watt amp)

Im realativley new here but from what people have been telling me, 1100W to that sub is fine since its 1000 RMS, I mean it could take 1500.

I am going to have to say a proper setup would be a large ported box preferably around 4Ft^3 and if you want low hard hitting bass you want it tuned around 32-35Hz.

Anyone here want to improve on what I say go for it. And im not being sarcastic, im pretty sure im right but if im not dont hesitate to correct me.

No you should be fine with 1100 watts.

EDIT:

**** it dude it's 1100 watts PEAK, not RMS... DEFINITELY get a new amp.

For D4 Voice Coil:

Try a JL Audio e1800d, a1800d (I think... look on their website), JL Audio 1000/1, Alpine PDX 1.1000

For D2 Voice Coil:

US Amps XT4000D (careful on the gains), DD M1a (look in the classifieds section), JL Audio 1000/1

I would go for either the DD amp or the US Amps Amp, depending on your budget.

To be completely honest I would go for the US Amps... more power for the money. And trust me, you'll want more power.
