2 12.1 SVC Kappa Perfects, better ported or sealed?

Back a few years ago, i preferred the sound of the 12.1 sealed over ported. I prefer everything ported now, and i am not sure if that is because my preferences have changed or my caliber of subs, but it doesn't hurt to try sealed first and then go ported, but it didn't sound bad either way

I heard sealed was a much better option

in terms of SQ

Before I started to cut wiring, I would just leave one of the connectors unplugged. Based on your 3rd image, it looks like the wiring was spliced...

I would not recommend it if all subs are sharing the same chamber. I myself wouldnt do it at all. I would recommend get or having a tuned...
