2-10s or 1-12??

I have a Chevy Silverado extended cab truck. I am running an active system with PG RSD 6.5s in the front. I m using a Zapco Ref 150 for the tweets, and Ref 350 for the mids and a Ref 750 for the Sub. i am going to be buying a new sub/s and this is where my questions comes in.

The amp puts out 750 watts bridged at 4 ohms. In your opinion would I be better going to 2 10 inch subs or 1 12 inch sub. And what subs would you recommend?

Would like to keep price for sub in the 300 range.

you want to keep the back seat? Lift the seat or not? If you want to keep it and not lift it I would go with 2 10's sealed

I occasionally have passengers, so I need to keep the back seat. I do not want to lift it.

So it looks like it is user preference.

It depends on where you want the box to be and how much room you have. If you can fit a 12", go for it.

Single 12 in med ported or 2 tens in sealed.

1 sub 12 inch 4 ohm or 2 subs 10 inch 2x4ohms dvc .

i think 2 sub 10 are better

I have 1 10" Alpine Type R under the back seat of my Silverado in a ported box. I didnt need to raise the seat to do it either but the bottom of the enclosure is fiberglass molded to the truck floor. If you want 2 10s in a ported enclosure it shouldn't be to difficult. My one 10 is enough for me but 2 10s would pound pretty good in your truck.

My sub is a D4 with a 600 watt amp

Just so you can see what I mean. The truck is all back together now and it sounds good with the seat up or down. Even with 3 kids sitting on the seat //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

The side of the box doesn't even go to the center of the hump so putting 2 back there should be no problem.
