Hi everyone!

I'm new here. Can anyone help?

I've got:

- 1 x 4ohm 400W RMS sub

- 4 x 4ohm 100W RMS speakers

Can I connect them to 4ch amplifier (MTX1004)? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blush.gif.99bc659ee2012b7d826165e26fb5eebe.gif

Thanks.

Run the 4 spkrs off the front two channels at 2 ohms stereo. Bridge the rear 2 channels for the sub.

You should be able to keep the gains set relatively low and the power should be about perfect for maximum performance from all your speakers.

Thank you.

Am I uderstood right?-

Front 1 channel= 2 speaks

Front 2 channel= 2 speaks

Rear 2 channels bridged and sub [Rockford Punch P310D4] wired at 8 ohms (amp manual [mtx1004] says that minimum impendance for bridge = 4 ohms.

Just not sure that 8 ohm will work well...

Will be capacitor needed for such system?

Thanks for your time

Just two things to keep in mind:

  • For the interior speakers make sure you wire both left speakers to one channel, and both right speakers to other channel. Don't wire both fronts to one channel and both rears to the other channel.

  • Just realize that at 8ohm the rear two channels bridged will only output 250w.

That is all //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

You can wire those subs up @8 ohms if they are both SVC4 ohm subs, and that amp will run fine after being tuned properly...
