i am gona try to make a box for 3 12 inch massive cw's and ima try to chase a few numbers with this. now the box ima make is gona have changable ports and such but right now i am worried about how big the port should be. the subs need 2 cf a piece and i was gona add .25 cf to each sub for the displacement and such. what should i tune this thing too and how big should the port be for this application.

i am fiddling around with the WinISD and so far i got this...

i got a 9x10x5 port thats tuned around 53 hz would this do decent or am i not even close.

thnx for the help =] thats the reason half the people on this site get nowhere cause only thing people can do is just talk. no one can give anyone knowledge about anything cause you all are to busy talkin about how bad or stupid something is. so if someone else is on this site who might be able to help without any stupid talk it would be much appreciated ty =]

theres a pic of what i got so far. workin on 3 diff ports but just tell me if the other port is decent or what i need to improve on.

he stated number chaser... in 6 cubes 100 sq in of port isnt that crazy, it wouldnt make a bad daily box but port could/should be bigger for a number chaser

also since your asking for help with box design you already have your amp chosen right? how much power will you be using, and you have electrical to support that power right?

honestly you need to do alot of research before you post questions like this and you havent done enough or you wouldnt be asking the wrong question

long day at work, I didn't read it to well just kinda scanned it over. thanks for catching that for me I think I need a nap.

Don't you search for the resonant frequency in the car and tune to that? Just my noob idea as to how it's done. I'm more worried about SQL though... may work on a LOUD CRX when I get the cash.
no i have never done a resonant frequency cause i am still a noob at building a box and i dont know the correct procedure to take to build boxes. i have heard of gettin the resonant frequency but i dont know what to do to achieve that.
