hi i cant figure it out how many amps does my stock alt put out. i bought the car used notin in the books. i get no dimin at all 600 watts to my subs and 200 to my horns. volt drop to 13.8 or so full blast

I would say somewhere between 65& 85 amps

ok sounds good how about we say 70. my buick regal had 105 and the lights dimmed bad. off a 1000 watt everyones fav.................sony sold it. i dont have much better right now a best buy special. it dont over heat so yea it works.
