I came into a 1998 monte carlo Z34 3.8
This will be my next ride replacing the cavalier (http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=421848)
I plan to use the same components (CDT M6, DRT26a, 560), same deck, (premier 680ub), same amps (US AMPS MD1D and MD23), same batts (1 HC1800 up front, HC2400 back) the question is what to do for a substage. I have decided i want to fire forwards into the cabin like my cavalier sealed up at the back seats.. (thus elminating trunk rattle)
The problem is the height gap is only like 13" so there is no way im getting my mag 15" in there firing forward. I was thinking of going with 2 12" Audioque SDC2.5 12's ported forward, but am still not sure..
I am open to any suggestions with setup and would like to get some other peoples ideas for setup in this car, my main concern is loudness, then sq, then trunk vibrations... but im not sure if trunk vibrations would really be a problem in this car because its built like a tank...
