1998 intrepid speakers\comps?

sup guys.

my brother has a 97 intrepid. he just bought himself a freaking eclipse 5444 HU (wtf. i want one) for his car, and had it installed by the shop down the street.

deck = amazing

anyway, he has stock everything else. and it sounds terrible because of it.

now his birthday is NOV 16. he will be home from college ~NOV 20. so i have a few days.

i was planning on getting him new components\coaxials for his car for his birthday, and an amp for them for Xmas (maybe a 5channel incase we upgrade with a woofer)

so i have NO IDEA what the mounting locations\depths are for this car. and i dont want to tell him - cuz it will ruin the surprise... I THINK he is comming home this weekend (and the next) so i MIGHT be able to peek without him seeing.

but does anyone have a ~1998 intrepid that has bought components? what should i get him. im basically wanting to spend maybe $100 on all the speakers. but get some good components for his car. maybe just upgrade the front fill, and get some coaxials for the rear. but im not sure what kind of room i have to play with.
