1990 Nissan 240 box design

Hello,

I would like to install a 12" Type X in a 1990 240. I would like the box to be ported with the sub firing up.

Here are some measurements I took of the trunk:

Depth 15"

Height 13"

Width (Front) 38"

Width (Back) 20" but has and cut around of 8" wide and 6.5"

Now I was thinking I could build it with all the cut outs and have it flush against the seats or just make the width 38" front and back and use the back space for a nice amp rack on the box.

What do you guys think? Oh ya the sub is going to be powered by a JL 500/1, I personally think its being under powered but thats what I have to work with.
