1989 Grand Prix dash

Do any of you know if the dash speaker grills come off, or do I need to dismantle the dash to get under there? I tried prying them off but I stopped when it felt like I was about to break something.

iirc it's just like my 93. there is only 2 screws by the guages and the rest are just pins that pop up

That helped a lot but I've run into a problem. I took out the two screws by the gauge cluster and started popping the pins. Everything has come loose except for one spot right above the glove compartment on the edge furthest from the windshield. I've tried pushing and pulling on it from all angles with quite a lot of pressure, but it still won't pop.

Is it a pin that should pop but isn't cooperating, or is it screwed into something that I'll have to do some more dismantling to get access to?
