i always wanted to do an SPL setup in one of those...i saw a real nice one at a car show a few months ago it was a very low mileage one all original

Yeah doing a budget build using gonna put the 6.75" Kenwood components in the front and the polks in the rear with an adapter plate. Gonna run a HDS215 in a custom built box limiting my self to 500 so the sub and box already chewed up most of it I still have to find a good budget amp and get a wiring kit I keep getting different recommendations on amp but a lot of people are recommending the FSD FZ700D so I think imma go with it

I happen to have an ALC 10 2 ch crossover sitting if thats the one you are thinking about..should fit in that ashtray:naughty:

i like the dash layout better in the 88 for sound system...mainly cause of the ashtray slot ...i use to have an 87 ranger and a 89 ranger...

The thing I like about the '90 is it doesn't have a dashpad that sticks out so I can put a headunit with a flip up screen

yep limited to a console box or...6x9 ...6 or 8 subs behind the seat..or you can do a blow through ...from cab to the bed ...or add a sleeper cab or snugtop...most of these are pretty expensive...

Acctually my 10" fit pretty good in-between the seats but everything is moved over to the Bronco now

Ive been eyeing a pretty sweet 87-88 Ranger STX 4wd extended cab ...black with silver stripes and red interior...I may look at it up close tomorrow...and check on the price

im not crazy about the 2.9 either my 89 had one ...fingers crossed its a 5spd also...i might make an spl vehicle out of it if the price is right

I'm loving my bronco2 after the sound system is done imma start building the engine.
