Gonna be doing a car audio build soon. First step will be upgrading highs and mids with a pair of Kenwood Excelon components that for now will be ran off the deck since I'm not far from them in a single cab they should do fine currently I have these JVCs in the front

will post pics of new speakers soon as I have them after that will come the sub and a better box having a hard time deciding what to do for a sub considering the lack of space

got bored this morning so used some 8guage Rockford power wire I had laying around as speaker wire for the sub. Not like it really matters but it killed time lol

Didn't change the sound really since its only like 2-3ft I did adjust the settings on the deck a little though to stop bass coming from door speakers which helped a lot since the surrounds on the drivers are ripped gotta get it fixed

In my ranger i used the ashtray location to custom mount an Altec Lansing quarter din crossover...Its also a good location for one of those mini Kenwood EQs if you can find one...

In my ranger i used the ashtray location to custom mount an Altec Lansing quarter din crossover...Its also a good location for one of those mini Kenwood EQs if you can find one...

I happen to have an ALC 10 2 ch crossover sitting if thats the one you are thinking about..should fit in that ashtray:naughty:

i always wanted to do an SPL setup in one of those...i saw a real nice one at a car show a few months ago it was a very low mileage one all original
