1987 VL Commodore wagon...

what are the dist. blocks for?
They are not needed
The distro's are not needed, he could have just jump straight from the bank.

I think that's the least of his worries though.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Your battery has one power and one ground coming off it, then you split the power into 0ga+2 runs of 4ga. That is what I'm saying, pretty simple. Are you following me yet?
Then you have two amps drawing 400 amps each= 800 amps total then from there you have a 300 amp fuse right before the batts that will pop because you have 800 amps of current trying to go through it.

Does that make any sense to you.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

either you're not following the diagram, you're not looking at the diagram, or you're just plain stupid!!

you sir, are an idiot.

please look at the diagram before posting.

the bloody 300amp fuse doesn't even need to be connected and the whole setup will still work!!! it just won't be getting any charge from the alternator..

how the hell can you not follow this diagram?

Do you not have one run of power and one run of ground coming off your front battery?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/beatdeadhorse5.gif.5d70132dea1eb89b73bf2fdbb6027dd6.gif

I have been watching this build from the beginning and have been trying to help the whole time, yet when someone points out your fuck ups yes more tan one, you act like I'm the idiot.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

yes, I have one run of 0ga cable being used to charge the rear battery bank..

the battery bank is what the amplifiers are mainly running off.

if you can't understand this, you have to be one of the dumbest members on here!!!

the distro block is there, because it means I have have the cables running to the compressor and amplifier fused, without having to run an extra fuse holder, it means there is a 300amp fuse for the rear bank, and front battery, so in the event of a bad short, both these fuses will blow.

the distro isn't NEEDED, but it makes it neater, and I already had them.

this looks much more organized and half way decent in my opinion

You quoted me on the unneeded distros, not the useless 300 amp fuse.

LOL U MAD.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/slap.gif.87520e8ca8e90076ac30e777c0de5331.gif

i couldn't easily run bus bars due to clearance issues between the batteries and box, and also because of the type of battery terminals..

but, apart from that, thats exactly what I have!!! except that I have a single CHARGE WIRE from the front battery and alternator!

the front/rear 300amp fuses will never blow, I'll never be drawing anywhere near 300amps from the front battery and alternator!

Seriously though it shouldn't be to hard to add a few more runs if need be later on.
