1977 Buick Regal

If I'm not mistaken that year still had a real Buick engine, not a bastard chevy smallblock in it. While the Buick motor is very capable, parts are harder to find.

yep...checked the vin numbers...its a buick 350 motor

hey...im 16 its my first car...and first project...plus it was free!

Edelbrock is decent, especially their intake manifolds. Holley is popular on Mopars, but usually their cheaper lines are shit. I personally prefer Demon carbs. And the 350 is perhaps the greatest motor ever created. I can't believe they don't still use it. The 364 (6.0) and the 327 (5.3) are both nice engines, but just don't live up to the 350... Although the entire LS-series is pimp. Just grab a set of good heads, and related hardware, make sure compression/leak-down are good, and stroke that *****.

A buddy of mine has a 350-swapped 85 S-10. He had an Edelbrock on it to match his intake mani. Swapped over his Edelbrock 750cfm 4bbl, for a Demon 750cfm 4bbl, and shaved .3 seconds off his 1/4...
