For sale is a 1967 Mustang Coupe. It has a rebuilt 302 (came from a 69) bored .30 over and a rebuilt Transmission that run great (Less than 7k on both!) The car does not have power steering, but here is a list of the New:Holley 650, Electric Choke, Edelbrock Intake, Battery, Starter, 2 1/2" exhaust, Plugs and Wires, Pertronix Ignition and Coil, Motor Mounts, Deep Aluminum Pan
Cooler with External Filter, Rebuilt 3rd Member (8" rear), Fuel cell, Sending Unit, Pump, Shocks, Front and Rear Valances and Driving Lights, Tail Lights/Bezels, Side Trim Moldings, Headlight Switch, Turn Signal Assembly and Harness, Dash Lights/Lenses, Blue Filters, Gauge Buckets (Replaced Clock with Tach.), Steering Wheel, Shifter Handle/Bezel, Lock Assemblies (ignition, door, and trunk locks), Armrests, Outside Door Handles, Rear Window Package Tray, Trunk Seal, Hood Lip Molding, Wheel Center Caps (2) Lug Nuts, Tires, Water Pump, Fan, Coolant Overflow Tank, Door Sills, Side Mirror, Rearview Mirror, Kenwood CD Player, Kick Panels with Kenwood Speakers, Carpet, and Dome Light. Wiring has been laid for two rear speakers and a Subwoofer.
I also have a brand new dash pad that I will include with the purchase of the car.
I spent $400 on weather stripping (The stripping above the door windows needs to be looked at though because I do not feel it was put on right).
The mustang has a C-4 ****** (roller internals, hardened shafts, 6-gear, new servos, Hughes full-forward manual valve body, 3500 TCI converter, TCI flywheel).
Note - ****** was from a strip car with only a few passes on it.
Car has been converted to Power Brakes with new Master Cylinder and Power Booster Kit.
New Black Cherry Pearl Paint (Dupont primer/sealer, Single Stage Dupont Nason Urethane)
- The paint job was not professionally done which is why it is thin in a few areas (I did my best to capture it in the pictures below). The car is not in need of another paint job unless someone is trying to make it perfect.
The interior is in great condition with only the two front seats showing some wear.
The car is in need of is a Heater Core (there is a slow leak under the dash, so I have the heater currently bypassed). It also needs a new speedometer cable (They are really cheap, but no-one in the small town I live in knows how to install one). One brake light is not working (I think it just needs a new bulb). The turn signals need to be looked at (They were working previous to the car being painted so I think it just needs a new fuse).
THIS IS A 45 YEAR OLD CAR - IT IS NOT SHOWROOM - IT IS HOWEVER A POWERFUL AND BEAUTIFUL CLASSIC CAR THAT IS READY TO GO.
It is a beautiful classic that is a blast to drive! The ONLY reason I am selling it is because I am in college and am looking for a safer means of transportation. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions!
- I am also selling the Mustang locally, so I therefore reserve the right to cancel this posting early if it is to sell locally.
