I was planning on running three SE15's sealed in 8cft I was wondering would a ported 18XXX have more output and low end than those Se's? Would a PA 3000DB be too much for a XXX? Will one XXX be loud enough for an Astro van? Thanks. Any opinions is appreciated.

Yeah that's why I'm trying to decide on a 18XXX ported.

You might get a better lower end with the 18" XXX but it might not be as loud, simply because of how much cone area there is with 3 15's.

If it was me I'd opt for the 18" XXX...I just like single sub setups better for some reason.

well id say go with the se's and put them in a 8 cubic ft ported box the se's in my opinion will get the loudest, but if u want u could get the 18xxx b/c that thing would be nice to even pick up...lol... but its all on what u want man, id say go with the se's
