One of my JL's cooked a tinsel lead, how would I do a quick repair, other than putting new leads on. I Have parts of old leads, could I just splice some of an old one into that one and reconnect it? Also why the fuk would this happen. I have 2, in the same size box on the same amp and amount of play.

There must be some kind of corrosion or casing on them leads because soldering them was a huge pain in the ***.

These are the best I could get.

Well see how long they last. Thanks for your help Mr.Crownvic
