18 XXX - installing tomorrow

Finally got my enclosure built for my 18" XXX.

I went with a sealed environment, ~5.35cu. ft.

2 or 4 dowels and some scrap MDF for bracing,

taking out my 12" SX's tomorrow and installin the XXX on ~1.5-1.6kw

Half of you couldn't even interpret the T/S parameters, yet you just think ported is the best way to go because "you heard it was"

uh, thats a different topic.

airspace does have an affect, but when debating between enclosures, it's already been discussed that for a deeper, lower end with better frequency response, sealed is the better way to go for the 2007 XXX 18.

many people think these new xxx's are like the old....they're practically a totally different sub.

and it's in an SUV, not a car.
