I think if you exceed a certain volume and/or certain dimension they jack it up to a special delievery or some stupid thing like that and if i remember correctly i think it was right around 4cuft that they do this.

UPS, he doesnt have a DHL local, but no biggie...

And yes, with UPS anything over 70lb the price is rediculous per added pound.

sadly yes... under 70;bs = 35 for shipping... 71 is like 60...

i tried saving weight wherever i could but still ended up being riduculously heavy...

He almost got this box for 110 shipped if it wasn't for the double baffle

165 shipped... but paypal fees make it 160, materials were 30 and shipping was 82... which makes profit a little under 40$ for 8 hours of work... I try to be as cheap as possible without taking a hit... i figure 5$ an hour isn't bad...

Well it arrived to me and appeared to be well built. It was a very solid enclosure... But now is kind of falling apart. The bottom port wall has a few screws that ripped out and is flexing apart from rest of the box. So I double layered it with another sheet of 3/4" and then found other pieces that are coming apart, as well as the now double layered wall.

Was wood glue used?....

that sucks that your new enclosure just fell apart. i bet you would of been better of buying a prefab enclosure.

are you going to get another one? or are you going to try and fix it
