18" sx enclosure

i jsut got my 18" sx yesterday, and i put in the box my l7's were in, it is 6 ft^3 tuned to 33 htz, i basicly just changed out the front piece and mounted the sub on the top.

my question is, is that enough space for the 18"? should i fit a 7.5 ft^3 box in there? will a foot and a half make a noticable difference?

also about tuning, what would be a nice loud tuning for daily driving? im kinda getting tired of the 33htz its tuned to now, should i go higher or lower?

im going to be using aeroports on my next box if that makes a difference. any and all opinions are welcome.

recommended is 6.5. I don't think it should be that bad.

6 cubic foot is pretty good. i have mine tuned to 32 and i love it. mabe tune somewhere around 36-38ish?
