I dont really know much about this sub but here what i do know..the 4 inch coil is bright copper color,zero coil sag,its a quad coil,,i was told this is the same as a tc sound 5200

just brought it to my local car audio shop..to have them test it to make 100% sure there is nothing wrong with it.....and they said all coil work and the coils ohm out at 1.5 each sub works 100%...this sub is a freaking monster!!

Does any one know how to take the motor off the basket i see where there is 4 screws AND I TOOK THEM OUT but the basket will not come off the motor i dont want to damage this sub..

$250? Who's bending you over? Jesus, you make sure to get some lube with that bro.. I doubt that sub weighs more than 70 pounds. Ups charged me $100 to ship a Nightshade 18, which weighs 84 pounds, anywhere in the country.. Don't know where in the hell you're getting $250 from

on the side of the basket down near the motor.....there's going to be a very small allen key bolt going kind of sideway into the basket towards the motor. Once you untighten that little *** bolt you can then unscrew the top off the motor. you may need to tap the side of the basket with a hammer an a a cloth to get it dislodged if its on there good. My old 18in ti pro had that little security bolt that kept the basket inplace after screwing onto the motor....though honestly dont think it needed it. once screwed into place that basket doesnt move

$100-$130 total to ship should be about right depending on packaging weight and distance. FL to TN was $91 for a 15...and that isnt all that far...
