i did some research.............and i found 1500rms is good for a 18 q.....is this true?

Im looking for 1 18 that will take around 1500rms daily and be louder than my cvxs with 1500rms daily also...........

Would the Q do the job for me?

i would be careful on the gains with 1500w on a Q. If you get the BP upgrade, you can run 1500-1800 safely, but still dont be stupid with the gains.

And yes, i think an 18" Q will destroy CVX's in every aspect.

I have a 12" Q with BP power option... run it @ 1500watts daily with no clip... but it's DEFINITELY not louder than CVX's, because my pair of CVR's @ 1000w are louder than the Q.

But idk... I don't have any experience with 18" subs.

But to be completely honest... I think the CVX's would be louder than the 18" Q.

yeah but that's comparing the CVX's to a 12" Q... the 18" Q should get louder than the pair of 12's
