So i was doing a little bit of measuring (and dreaming), and with the space i have, i was wondering if this would make for one wierd box. 35" Width, 31"Height, and 17" Depth, with a 3 inch wide port, tuned to 30hz with the 18" BL on the opposite side. I put all this in a program, and it just seemed to me like the port was way long (or high) with my box that tall. Would it make a difference? I dont know, it just seemed weird to me. Oh and the box would be 6.7 cubes before the port volume

with that height i doubt it would need to be 3 in wide

well actually with that box size maybe

what does fi recommend

From Fi website: 5-10 cuft @ 30-.. which my ideal box would fit perfect. But imagining how big and tall that port is just disturbs me, like it wouldnt work right or something lol.

well i know on the aq website they say 16 in. port area for every cubic foot of box so if u got 6

thats 96 sq port so if ur box is 31 high minus wood thats about 3.25 wide port

so looks right
