I would listen to both if you could , considering you haven't heard the RE's, hell not many people have and the crossovers on the RE look very high end actually //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Kidding aside either set would suit rap or rock the same properly installed, my Rainbows have no problem playing rap- dunno what you are saying..???

Resonant Engineering RE6.5 comps, OZ Audio Vector comps, DLS MS6 comps, Focal Polyflex, MB Quart Reference series components, Crystal CSC series
wow an oz guy in indiana lol i used to rep them, also pretty good friends with the people that did the perfect 40 car

lol, have you looked at my sig:crazy: , i own a set of REs. now i havent heard a set of the rainbows yet but a buddy of mine who is a dealer sells them at his shop and i was talkin to him and he said that the rainbows will better suit people who listin to rock. i dunno though. i guess its about time to make the 2 hour drive to lstin to these puppies...i personally like the tweets that come with them, there perfect for me cause i dont like stuff that sounds to harsh, but once again its personal preferance

Rainbows are worth every penny ,period- 20+ yrs in R&D ensures good sound quality drivers-I cut off my subs for member EbonyIsland and crossed over my fronts off my HU to 63hz, 80hz and 100hz during an audition and he liked the midbass response so much he went on his own and bought the set- I actually listen to my set all the time w/ out the subs when I listen to very accoustical music-I truly enjoy them

Check out the aura mr62 and mr52's I have for sale in the for sale section. As stated many times I will put them up against ANYTHING in the $400-$500 bracket. They simply are an amazing set. I sell them for $165 shipped for the mr62 and $155 shipped for the mr52. This is $55 cheaper than dealer cost was on them. They no longer make them so I bought allot in bulk and am selling them off for dirt to reclaim my $$$.

Retail was $449.99 and $399.99.

Check the for sale section or email me at desertheatracing@yahoo.com Also I have reviews of them available!

Aura is pretty famous in the scene especially if you were around back in 98-00. The pioneered the neo magnet structure and sound simply awsome. So far I have sold allot of the old sets and the most impressive record is that I am 4 for 4 now with locals bying on the spot after hearing them, three of wich replaceing other high end sets with these. This is no sales pitch, check out the post. Nothing but praise.
