mainly looking to find out which other subs compare to this in terms of output aswell as a general price for it used w/ 2 yr warranty.

very impressive sub...

moves quite a bit further than 18mm 1 way, not completely linearly though..

SQ of a champ, some like it more than w6v2 in a SQ setup

If you're looking for strictly SPL this isn't your sub. I personally see no point in going for pure spl unless it's for competing. It's designed for SQ and if you're that concerned get two. To get an idea of these subs see link below. You'll need the apple media player I believe but you can download that for free.

It's probably a little louder than the 15 O series (flat cone).

having gone from the 15A to the 16Ov.2 in the same 2.2^3 @30hz box

i can honestly say that the 16Ov.2 sounds better and has more output

with a lower wattage...

i really only give my 16Ov.2 about 400 watts and its plenty powerful

for me...

my setup isnt going to win any SPL comps... but it is definately a nice

sub to have...

subs ive owned previous include the

RE SE, the 15A, the RE XXX, JL W3, the O series flat cone and

some other random subs...

for the power i have in my system and the box size i can live with

the 16Ov.2 is the best sub that ive had...
