I can't answer your bet on that but i can tell you one thing. 2 8's in a box can do 160's at the port so i'm sure he has plenty of truth to his statement. Now, legal on the dash, that's a whole other story. Being that the install is the main factor as to how loud those subs are his claim is rediculous. But i'm sure everyone here is an audio freak enough to know that without me saying it.

Well I will hear back from him shortly hopefully on what meter he used and where it was placed. I just highly doubt he will say he placed it in the port. I think he is trying to trick some noobs.

Well...in the port 163 is a definate possibility. I have seen 2 DD 9917's hit 173.x off four visonik 4000d's sealed up car off.

Doug and I hit 153.8 with 2 9515 and 2 IA 20.1 and 16x.x in the port.
