15L7 on 2000+ watts?

has anyone ever given an 06 15L7 more than 2000 watts? i know there is one on ROE that is hooked up to a kx2500.1. the 12s can take an assload of power so im guessing the 15s will just take at least 2000.

I abused them earlier this year. They do fine off 2k.

it depends on how hard your driving them. for full tilt music, a whole song will lock them up.

i have toasted a few thermally on music with a measured 2100w. 1500 is a safe way to go with them.

man you kids keep wanting to put more and morep ower to them L7's.......do 1500-1800 and call it a day.....never thought id see the day an 15 L7 would handle as much and maybe slightly more power than my old xxx15

I have a rated 1600 going to mine who knows what its really getting but seems like it could take a lil more. Better safe then sorry thought when your broke

polecat have you tried it? im just asking cause i see people giving the 12" L7 around 1500 and its recommended rms is 750. but with 2000 watts and a clean signal with no clipping would it do good?
